Good Design Awards: Skema repeats and doubles

Skema repeats last year's success and doubles it, winning two GOOD DESIGN AWARDS.

This prestigious and globally recognised industrial design award is presented annually by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.

Last year Skema entered this hall of fame with SKEMAtheca  which won the prize for the Retail Fitting section.

In this latest edition, among the winners announced at the end of 2021, the SKEMAidea division can boast two awards, for Skinì and Trametes, both in the "Product design office and residential furniture" category.

Skinì and Trametes are the brainchild of architect Franco Driusso, a multi-award winning interior designer of international renown, who, together with Skema, has created the evolutionary design that distinguishes SKEMAidea products.

the partition that unites

Skinì is the flexible and configurable partition wall, designed to divide spaces, remodel them or create niches that facilitate privacy, in an agile, reversible and customisable way. A furnishing element that is both functional and scenic, flexible and light.
With 4 models of different sizes, 3 different colours for the structure and no less than 44 finishes for the cases, ranging from fabrics to wood and hi-tech painted and unpainted colours, the customisation possibilities offered by Skinì are endless.
