SKEMA partner COAM Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid

SKEMA is a partner of the College of Architects of Madrid, COAM, which with MATCOAM has established a centre of excellence in the heart of Madrid for the construction industry, where professionals and students can keep up to date with courses, events and Spain's largest permanent exhibition of building materials.

In this place, where all the figures involved in the construction process meet: architects, building engineers, interior designers, manufacturers, developers, builders, companies find a centre where they can network with professionals who, in turn, know that here they can find all the tools for consultation and study to keep up to date with the latest developments in the sector.

SKEMA is present within the MATCOAM space, both in the Exhibition Space dedicated to building and interior design materials, as well as in the Materialista APP, a true digital material library, accessible to all professionals.

The building's physical space, located on the third floor of the COAM headquarters, has multiple areas dedicated to knowledge, meetings, work and the spread of all things related to the construction industry. Here you will find the Materials Gallery, where you can consult and study a wide range of construction solutions and installations for architectural and interior design projects. A space for knowledge and consultation open to all types of public, both professionals and citizens.

APP Materialista makes it possible to have the Material Gallery directly in the digital space, ensuring that it is available anywhere and at any time. This app brings together all the materials displayed in the gallery, relating them to the manufacturers and all their communication channels, outlining their properties and showing examples of projects in which they have been used.

Taller de Moodboards whit SKEMA on 14 April

COAM organises many events and workshops throughout the year. Each month a theme is discussed and developed during meetings organised for members and other professionals, with the participation of member companies, including SKEMA.

SKEMA's first presentation will be within the "Taller de Moodboards" "Taller de Moodboards" format and is set for Friday 14 April 2023 with the theme of wood in its uses in construction. Here SKEMA will present four key products of its offer to the audience of architects attending: Lumbertech, Yles, Outside and Akustika.
The meeting is developed in such a way as to alternate theory and practice, with moments of collective training, development of moodboards, and one-to-one meetings between companies and architects where it will be possible to discuss the more technical aspects and learn more about the products presented.
