On 30 June, SKEMA's headquarters in Ponte di Piave welcomed more than 250 guests to celebrate the first 30 years of activity all together.

30 years of relationships, of projects, of solutions that have traced our path towards a new approach to the surfaces market, with sustainability as our new fundamental focus.

The day was a succession of meaningful and emotional moments, for which we would like to thank all the participants whose involvement made the SKEMA30 event unique.
Special thanks also go to the speakers of the speeches that took place in the first part of the day, where together with them we were able to investigate the relationship between design, nature and sustainability with a view to living comfort.

After the opening by SKEMA's CEO, Dr. Nicola De Menis, speakers included: Dr. Iris Visentin, QualityNet's technical partner, who guided us through the understanding and knowledge of the principles of sustainability, product and building certification; Edoardo Rovatti, founder of Green Habitat, Green Habitat, who addressed the topic of the presence of plants with stabilised technology in interior spaces, which can improve living comfort and purify the air, improve acoustics and remove fine dust

Our art director, Arch. Franco Driusso, who led us into the world of new proposals for a balanced, bold and modern design, harmonised with performance surfaces and furnishing acoustics, in SKEMAidea projects; Raffaele Ferrara, SKEMA brand manager, who showed us the transformation of the exhibition space for experiential selling with SkemaTHECA.

SKEMA30 awards

SKEMA30 was an educational moment, and it was also an opportunity to celebrate our history and the many people who have allowed us to be among the leading players in the floor and wall covering industry.
That is why, before the celebrations, there was a moment of awards where we presented an object that symbolises SKEMA and its corporate philosophy: the SKEMA30 sculpture.
The first to be honoured could only be SKEMA's founder, Mr Domenico Barabas, the column and driving force that lit the spark 30 years ago and allowed this large, dynamic and proactive company to be built.
