Green building chooses Skema

In the province of Treviso, two beautiful villas with a modern style, are the emblem of how green building allows you to live in the maximum living comfort, thanks to careful structural choices and cutting-edge materials, in the sign of environmental sustainability.

Skema floorings were chosen for the interiors and exteriors of these two villas, solutions that are perfectly in line with the construction philosophy of wooden houses, sustainable and in harmony with the environment.

In these homes wood is the protagonist, and is an example of how this raw material is ductile and capable of responding in an extremely high performance way through its technological use.
These natural and passive buildings are equipped with all the comforts and the latest innovations in terms of home automation, they are earthquake-proof buildings and thermally insulated thanks to a wooden supporting structure, the use of insulating systems such as thermal coat, ventilated roof in natural wood fiber and composite walls in wood fiber.

Skema floors for green building

It is no coincidence that two Skema solutions from the Organica range were also chosen for the interiors.
The first house features approximately 300m2 of Cambridge Corda Rustico Live, a beautiful custom varnished multi-width oak floor from the Authentic Concept of the Oximoro range.

In the second house, the interiors are dressed in Lumbertech engineered wood, 200 square meters of Lima Oak with running laying that furnish all the rooms and exploit the qualities of Lumbertech, authentic wood enhanced in the resistance to shocks.

Skema also made a valuable contribution to the exteriors, where Maria Classic Cemento WPC decking was used on the ground in both homes, while in one of the two homes a Marina Real Teak Ossidato was used to clad part of the home's exterior walls.

Skema's floor and wall coverings are ideal for eco-sustainable construction because they are made from materials that are certified as being environmentally friendly. These solutions make use of dry-laying systems that do not involve the use of chemicals, and are sustainable products throughout their life cycle, from production tracking to final recycling.

The two green building villas are a perfect example of how technology and design can meet to give life to a housing model in line with the principles of sustainability and energy saving, with the fundamental contribution of wood, used in all its forms.
