With only two weeks available (during the closure for summer holidays), Rino Moffa, owner of Colonial Café in Corso Magenta in the heart of Milan, didn't have a lot of time to renovate the venue.
That's why, when he entered our partner Aerre Milano's showroom in search of the best flooring material, his request was very clear: something that would allow for a quick and easy installation, as well as a great resistance to the Happy Hour's daily foot traffic, and the colonial-style furniture.
The logic solution at this point could only be Maxim L, the most recent arrival in the Living range of laminates.
Maxim L's peculiarity is to offer the highest possible resistance to abrasion available on the market, the AC6. Further, an easy assembly is ensured by Skema's patented TLS Plus locking system.
The neutral, elegant and modern colour of the chosen finish (the Dakota Oak) is able to effectively balance the sophisticated colonial style of the venue.
Finally, what justified Maxim L's choice even more, was the size of the slats (indeed, ‘L' stands for ‘Long,' with a size of 2052x198xmm) the dynamicity of the 4-sided bevel, and a perfect reproduction of the natural texture of wood.
